Berlin baby!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Juleshopping i Berlin!!! A whole weekend shopping, eating and drinking gluhwein! Needless to say it was fantastic! My sister Janne and I went for a weekend before Christmas. Berlin was so easy to get around in, our hotel was great, it was in the middle of the main shopping street:) The shops were open to 10pm every night and the markets never seemed to close. We mainly went there to check out the Christmas markets. There are about 60 markets just in Berlin. We picked out 5 in advance that we wanted to check out. The markets were huge, and they sold all kinds of cool stuff and lots of weird junk. Though every second booth was selling either alcohol or some form of sausages. There were Christmas lights and trees everywhere. It was really the place to get into the Christmas spirit.

This is the first gløgg I had. You never got served in plastic cups....you got these boots instead. If you didn't want your deposit back you could keep the boot.....there's many in my cupboard now.
Janne ordering us some hot chocolate and Jaeger tea. That was some strong stuff! Try it....expect to get a little tipsy!Janne and I at the Operahouse market.
One amazing christmas tree. We were so impressed. After seeing this tree I didn't get one when I got back anything else just looked sad.
Checkpoint Charlie. We did check out some of the historic sights on our trip. I had 4 museums planned. However we spent hours at Checkpoint Charlie and the museum there. It was really good.Friday, November 24, 2006

Aloha
Aloha Everyone,
Here's some photos from the Hawaiian party. It was a blast, I had so much fun. It was great to see everyone dressed up! The tent looked awesome too, love the hawaiibar gives the place the right atmosphere. We didn't decorate too much as we thought all the people would be like decorations in their colourful outfits! And earlier in the day I bought a hell of a lot of pineapples, that everyone posed with all through the night. Until someone came up with the brilliant idea...Hey lets eat them! Very tasty!
This is turning out to be an annual event on Goa, am already looking forward to next years party, hope you all come back next year. Take a look at the photos. Was hard to pick some for the blog, as I had 150pics! My sister had taken heaps of photos too. But put in a mix here.

Here's me, first pineapple pose...greeting people

Here's Bernt. I have to say all the boys wore either hawaii shirts or flowers, and some even incorporated hawaiian boxers.

Dj Rob:) This fellow was so nice. He came early to help set the stereo and speakers up, and ended up doing all the lights too! Very happy about that, since I had totally forgotten about time to put up lights.
Janne og Ole Steinar. Janne is my sister, and she likes to smile big:)
The newly weds! Aren't they cute.

Group shot! From left, Jone, Me, Pål and Janne.

Nobody can call Janne camera shy.

Here's an overview of the party. As seen from the bar:)

Jone and Veronica. Who has taught me the difference between hand signalling Aloha! and Rock on!

Thomas. Loved you skirt!
Tore and Janne.
Janne like sticking her tongue out on pics!
Svenna. Always a blast at parties!

Me and John. This is Jannes boyfriend. He made some great cocktails! Maybe we can convince him to be bartender next year!

Mads and Kenneth.....think the picture says it all:)

Loved this photo. So cool the drink hanging in the air.

The clever girl who cut up the pineapple!

And last but not least Marianne!
